Our Top Priorities
-
How We Practice
Tailoring treatment to match each client’s individual needs while adhering to evidence based practices. We place equal value on our clients’ unique experiences as we do treatment protocols because we believe this balance is necessary to provide the personalized support and accountability needed to make lasting change.
-
Two Equal Experts
We believe the most effective therapeutic relationship is one of two equal experts, the client an expert on themselves and the therapist an expert in DBT. We achieve this dynamic by emphasizing collaboration and authenticity. Therefore, we honor our clients’ courage and vulnerability by embodying DBT principles whole heartedly both personally and professionally.
-
Cultural Humility
We are aware of the privileges our identities allow us and are committed to cultural humility practices. GLTC is an affirming and empowering environment and our therapists embody those values in all facets of their work.
